Lol it's actually a popsicle stick I found in my yard. It's been in the elements a bit.

I tend to look at the date as I don't have any popsicle sticks in my backyard...but that's just me.

I hear ya although in order to identify the 1983 copper cent transitional error a scale like this works great.
