Has anyone tried these flips for sealing the coin?

Hello!

The newbie here again!  I found these (see pic) and was wondering if anyone has tried this type before and if it was successful? It seems easier than lining up and trying to staple but wondering if the "stick" part could be a long term problem?   Thanks in advance!!!!

Check the package for the kind of plastic used and for adhesive's composition. Nothing containing sulfur, chlorine, or any other reactive element/compound should be in the 2x2. "Archival" is a good word to look for.

2 by 2 flips are generally good storage for raw coins and yes staples can be risky business. If label doesn't state how they're made, call the manufacturer to find out what is in that paper and adhesive. Matter of fact I have some coins in 2 by 2s' that have toned nice enough I had them slabbed. I would be most concerned about the adhesive.

I like using SAFlips and sealing them with an impulse sealer myself. I’d be afraid that the adhesive would end up on the coins in the ones you asked about. Here’s a link to what I mean by SAFlips

And here’s the type of impulse sealer I use https://www.amazon.com/PrimeTrendz-Inch-Impulse-Heat-Sealer/dp/B000UVMKO8

Did not think of that info.   Thanks!
