Found 1969 D in Marion King clock

I am a picker and found a Marion King Model 72 clock at an estate sale. I was cleaning it up mostly to double my money based on silver content.  One of the Kennedys was a 69 D. I am not a coin collector or expert other than the fact I collect silver in general. I have researched this coin but the issue is the value can vary drastically on the rating. Sorry, but I cant tell the difference from 64 to 67!  I just would like some advice on whether I should take this coin serious as a collector item or just move on for the silver content. I have hundreds of silver coins just for the melt value but this coin looks like it may be more valuable. I really appreciate any responses and your knowledge.

I have attached photos, please let me know and I can try to get better pictures if needed.

You probably get whole lot more out of the clock by fixing it. You got a good looking base to work with. You could fix it fairly cheap. That is a beautiful clock.
