Square base 2 over curl base 2 recut 0

So capped bust half dollars come in 2 varieties square base 2 and curl base 2 for the purposes of this discussion. There are many more varieties however this 2 is legitimately recut and hollowed out over a curl base 2.

Is there a known variety for this? Or is this a new discovery?

Im with Hoghead.  I pic of the whole coin would be nice.  I only have about 10 Bust halves, However since you love to do the research i would suggest getting an Overton cheat sheet or book on bust varieties.  the bust series has hundreds of different varieties and it is a series that some years have 5 or 6 different varieties.
