Calleleon09
I have this 1983 penny I did some research on it because the color was a bit different then the rest and I don’t really know a lot about pennies like collectors do so this is why I am asking if one you guys can help me see if it’s worth anything really. The only thing I found out was about something called double die and that’s what makes the coin valuable but I’m not really sure if this penny I have falls with that. Thank you ! l.cutler
Looks like a normal 1983 cent. Nice condition for it's age, but just worth face value. Calleleon09

rocket23
99.2% zinc .08% copper...basically the copper plating process is that.......08%.......,01.c. Calleleon09
Conder101
Your coin is copper plated zinc not copper (the plating bubbles prove that instantly). There is a strong DDR (Doubled Die Reverse) that exists for this year that has some good value to it, yours is not one of them.
