here are 2 attachments, conflicting to me, but maybe Someone has a reason  as to why or how.....

 

Here is an ase with the mint mark P....however according to this letter from the u.s. mint they were never struck in philladelphia......what gives....

I only see one photo of an ASE rev, perhaps you would care to provide us with additional information such as the obv photo and other data you have.

The production of proof Silver Eagles was moved from San Fransisco to Philadelphia in 1993.

And the proof production stayed at Philadelphia thru 2000, in 2001 it moved to West Point.

Yeah I saw what the mint did I had a sheet with all the bullion coins. Not the proofs. That’s where I goofed. Proofs not circulated coins have the mint Mark. My bad.

on another note I have an IGC encapsulated  bullion coin 2015 p.......leary about not having the mint mark.

The 1995-W is the four-figure coin.

Yep. I checked the serial number. It’s genuine I think I’ll hang on to this one.

There's a fellow on ebay who sells mintmarks. Just stick 'em to your coin, and off you go!

It's not supposed to have a mint mark.  No bullion ASE have a mint mark.  Supposedly they are able to discern that it was minted in Philly is by the serial number on the strap that sealed the monster box.  However, take it out of the slab, and you lose any sort of provenance as to the mint.

I agree. A major grading company says its from philly in the slab it stays.
