PMD or Strike Through? 0

Another quarter that I wanted to verify if it is PMD or something going on. What is your opinion?

Those look like scratches.

They absolutely are scratches. The question is , “On what?”

What I mean is are the scratches on the coin, or on the die that struck the coin? If they were on the die, the scratches are raised on the coin. The omnidirectional lighting makes it difficult to determine.

Understood. These are inset, so probably just damage based on these responses. They are just really weird in appearance compared to most scratches I am seeing on coins. I am sure I will eventually get the hang of all the nuances
