Hello all, hope all are well, and staying safe. wish you all best of health and happiness.  I am Hyder  from India. I  came across this link and couldn't help but join the thread.  last week, I too bought an  identical token which is made of brass.  The only difference being,  that it has 2 sails, has a male portrait with the typical pout  and on the split legend it is written Gold on the left and Cowen on the right. I think it was a spelling mistake  for "Coin".  In all fairness, i think this token was made by some  Con-Artist to pass it off  as gold to gullible customers.
