1842 small "O" dime? 0

I recently bought this and was wondering if anybody had some information on this coin. I googled it and couldnt find much about the small "o" mintmark. Also is icg a reputable company?

Yes, that is a small O.

They are not one of the two top graders but they are pretty reliable. They are one of only four graders that eBay will allow to show the numeric grade on a listing.    Other graders (mainly basement slabbers) have to have the numeric grade blacked out.

Does it have any more value over a regular 42 o? Or is it pretty much the same? Thats great to hear, ive got burned on other holders before. Thanks for the reply.

The Small O is slightly scarce in lower grades, but rare only in grades XF or higher.
