                   I'd like your thoughts on this '92-d. To me it doesn't seem to be mechanical but I'm not sure. I know there is no variety for this on the 1992 but just curious. Thanks ahead of time for your input.

I'm thinking it's a plating bubble as well.  Very common occurrence on zinc Lincoln cents from the 1980's and early 1990's.
