Coins used to make jewelry rings ! 0

My wife sent me this video other day , I cried whole time watching these coins being tortured and made into Rings . Although they look pretty cool thought I’d share with you guys on here click on link to watch the video

Well.....I'm not clicking the link (I've had some nasty things happen to my computer in the past from such things) but I know exactly what you're talking about.  Coin rings have been made for a long time.  It's a sad end for coins to meet, I agree.

Sorry hear about your computer hope you have good virus protection ... in the Video the ring maker put a huge hole in a Morgan dollar ! I had to reach for a tissue 🥺😢 then ring maker put a huge hole in a gold coin looked like $50 1oz gold ... however with Morgan ring he was able to rap another ring over Morgan ring it spun freely it was pretty cool ... you could tell this guy making the rings knew his stuff , I don’t if he knew about the values of coins but he knew how make a ring look cool

I do have some good virus protection.  I just strive to avoid potential problems whenever possible.  Yep, that's the exact technique I've seen used. You see people doing that all over the place at these arts and crafts fairs that pop up in the summer.  I've seen these rings made from Morgans, Walking Liberty Halves, Peace Dollars, even Nazi silver 5 Reichsmark coins!
