Indeed it is.  1950's Wheats are about as common as you can get.

Welcome to the forum, Travis.  Although it may be  hard to believe that a 60+ year old coin is only worth its metal content value, it is indeed the case. What the others have said is true. In the world of wheat cents, coins from the 1950s are the most common, being available by the bagful for not much more than face value.
