I received this 1974 washington quarter and at first glance it looked like an ordinary POST MINT damaged coin, but under the jewelers loup and after closer inspection of the reverse this appears to be a GENUINE broken or shattered die error and or a struck through or multi strike error?? The AM in America on the reverse very unusual the eagles beak, and also appears to have tale tale signs of cracked die cudding, However I sure would appreciate other opinions on this and feedback because im stumped! Totally appears to me to be an error but a more trained eye than mine may see it differently, Thank you, Capone1929

Well the post that creates the center part of the D mintmark IS chipped off resulting in a blob mintmark.  Everything on the rev is just post strike damage.
