Morgan Dollar 1880

Dear friends.

 

I am absolutely new to the coin world and have a simple question.

Can you identify this dollar and estimate it's value?

It is in great condition, almost mirror surface, I made enlarged scans, a shadow on the face - it is just a reflection of my scanner light caused by very light abrasion.

There are no letters under the eagle.

Really hard to grade a coin by camera pics and even harder by scans as scans usually cannot pickup any luster of the coin. But, going by what I see, I'm guessing maybe ms64.

Looks to be in the MS-63 to 64 range.  Fields are pretty mark free but the cheek and neck are pretty scuffed

Best way to know that is look the coin up on ebay. Either present auctions or completed sales. Should give you a pretty good idea.
