Full thumb walking liberty

I am looking for a picture of an actual walking liberty left hand that is considered full.

This is pretty much the fullest thumb you'll ever see. Notice that in addition to the thumb, you can see the notch between her index finger and other fingers. Real sticklers for full strike also want full skirt lines (the ones on her thigh are often mushy), but these are often hard to get.

The only time I have seen pieces with a truly full thumb have been on proofs, and not all proofs have full thumbs.

The example I posted above is *not* a proof, just to be clear. It is a business strike which got a Star (and is very nearly prooflike).

Pressure may not have been excessive.  You could possibly achieve the same thing with a well annealed planchet.
