Also, just curious, what is going on with the obverse rim from 12 o'clock to 1 o'clock? Looks oddly smashed or something?

 

The (corroded?) area on the reverse rim above the UN of "UNITED" may also be problematic?

Thanks, I can see some discoloration and lining in that area, too.
