I was just looking at this eliasberg gallery....

was suprised to see biblic hebrew ??? on a german coin ???

Im 99.99% sure is hebrew and means "GOD" inside of the sun.

 

any idea whats that all about ?

 

any other info about this one ?

are they going to auction this ?

any idea of value/ rarity ?

Other than what it says and that it's a 6 ducat -

No I cannot add anything except that it is rare. And yes they are auctioning it - starting bid $4200 - expected to realize $7000 - $12000. I'll bet that's low.

Yiddish is an old language mix of German and Hebrew, that was spoken widely in central in eastern central Europe for several hundred years.
