Just about any fool can have a 'collectipn' pedigree noted on their slabs if they have a minimum # of coins graded and pay an extra fee...

 

If I ever win the lottery I'm going to experiment and see how absurd I can be...

I think he's refering to the 51 proof dime, in the description it says "from an important collector of toned coins"

 

Maybe he/she is so important they couldn't say who it is.

This hobby is full of self-aggrandizing ego-strokers.

 

Bizarre collection provenances abound. I am convinced a few of the "bigger" names in the industry buy coins just so they can add their names to the long hyphenated provenance listings in future auctions. To each his/her own. (shrug)
