That's nothing!

 

There are others out there, in far greater detail: many pieces, really fine work.

 

But you have to contact the cutter, practically put in an order.

 

I suppose you could supply the coin, too.

Interesting topic.

 

Somehow, it feels wrong to cut a coin that has any numismatic value.

 

But I like the idea -- applied to an ASE bullion coin:

I was at a small coin show this weekend and saw some of these, the coolest I thought were UNC merc dimes cut into puzzle pieces roughly the size of say 2 sesame seeds laying next to each other. It was very cool.
