Thank you CAC

No, not a green sticker/gold sticker/no sticker thread.

Just a thank you to JA and the crew at CAC. The other day I received a gift from them in the mail.

The Coin Collector's Survival Manual, revised 7th edition.

Didn't have it, probably wouldn't have purchased it on my own, but still appreciated and something to look at/read with time off around Christmas.

Totally cool of them to send stuff out like that. One of the first, and only, presents, aside from the PCGS calendars and a shirt, that I have received from any numismatic entity/dealer.

I'm sure others have received the same thing, or better, but I wanted to add my thanks out there in what will, hopefully, not be a negative thread about CAC.

I got mine, and on a semi-related note: every serious numismatist should own an edition of this book. I've read every edition since the Second Edition. The newer ones have updated info on Internet matters and updated market trends, etc, but even the old second edition is an eye opening read.

Yup that was a surprise gift. I had an earlier version, but nice to read and see how it has evolved and I look forward to re-reading the new edition cover to cover. I was impressed with the good will that was extended by CAC by sending those out to the collector members.

Best, HT

All collector members were sent a copy, so you should have one. Dealer members were not.

Yep...got mine!

I would like to "thank" the USPS for cramming the book into my small PO Box. Thanks for that... meh
