Showing off one my new favorite coins. Have not sent out to grade just yet but almost surely will.

It appears to be a high end AU or low level Mint State coin, at least by slab grading. My grade would be AU-58.

 

It is also a well above average strike for an 1875-CC double dime. Most of these coins are weakly struck on the eagle's left wing and the corresponding area on Ms. Liberty's shield on the obverse.

Some surface residue, maybe it's the plastic, I agree with the others.
