1833 Capped Bust Dime - GTG

I am going to be the skunk in the room. I don't care for this coin at all. I don't care for the granular surfaces, and black patches. The coin looks like it was dipped in acid for a while or more likely dug out of the ground.

 

I would not give this piece a straight grade. I think that it has environmental damage and should get a net grade of VG to Fine.

 

You can find well circulated dimes from this era with better surfaces. They don't have to be as rough as this.
