New Book on Mercs, SLQs and Walkers - foreword by our own RWB

In case anyone missed it, yesterday's issue of The E-Sylum contained an announcement by Whitman Publishing of the forthcoming "Guide Book of Mercury Dimes, Standing Liberty Quarters and Walking Liberty Half Dollars", the latest in that firm's "Official Red Book Series."

 

While the book's author is Q. David Bowers, its foreword is by our own RWB.

 

This is particularly fitting, since these three coins were highlighted in Roger's magisterial three-book series, "The Renaissance of American Coinage."

It's about time!! I have been wondering WHY QDB never did a Redbook on these series. I even sent him an email once suggesting it that went unanswered. I will DEFINITELY be purchasing a copy, as I love SLQs and Mercs, too! Congrats, RWB, as well!!
