1972 Kennedy half dollar error coin??

I have a 1972 Kennedy half dollar that appears to be two different halves??? Is this an error of some sort or just a common issue. Thank for your time.

I can't see pics either but if I were to guess I would say you probably have a magicians coin. I used to coin roll hunt half dollars, I found over 20 of them.

I'm suspecting it's a tilted partial collar, an error coin. The collar (which imparts the reeding on the coin) was not fully raised up around the blank, thus allowing it to spread slightly when struck, and, since no collar where it spread, no reeding there on the coin. I'd like to see an edge view where the flange disappears from the edge (where it goes from part reeded/plain to fully reeded).
