One Eagle is "Struck at West Point" and has no W. The other is struck at West Point, and has none either?

 

All gold and silver is minted at West Point. Nowhere else. Period! Just a way to sell more coins at a inflated price.

Surely the mint will ship silver and gold to San Fran so they can sell MORE. Silver Eagles is their largest production based profit.

No one is holding you at gun-point to buy them...so what's the gripe? This is pretty much par for the course for the US Mint for the past 10 years.

Collect what you like and like what you collect. I think he is beginning to not like what he collects.

 

Seriously kidding on the gun-point thing. Unless you count finger guns because I point those around with blatant disregard.
