details grade points

I noticed some coins in peoples type sets with details grade and they have points for them. How do you know how many points you would get for a details graded coin?

Well I know how to find the points for a coin with a grade. But if something says XF details will it get the points for the lowest XF grade then?

Details-graded coins generally earn half the score of the lowest score for that particular grade.

An XF details coin, for example, would earn half the score for the lowest scoring XF40 coin in a particular slot/set. If you have further questions, please let me know.
