Here is a link to the world coin section of the catalog for next month's Early American History Auctions' 2/12 mail/internet auction. The connection to American history isn't clear, but they are selling about140 thalers, beginning at Lot #1387, an Austrian Leopold Hogmouth double thaler.

 

They seem to be honest, just poor graders. I bought an MS63 Morgan at one of their auctions, which PCGS slabbed as AU58. Their refund check was very prompt. laugh.gif

Based on a comment another forum member once made to me, I would NEVER purchase a raw coin from them. However, many of these talers are certified so it's worth taking a shot.
