I am not 100% sure but i believe these are not silver. Some titles certain ebayers post on ebay for these kind of items are misleading. They say something like ".999 pure silver clad 5 troy ounce." basically no silver content. I could be wrong but I have "the year of the bunny" coins that are very similar to your coin and I know they're silver clad. I paid cents for them though so I dont feel like i got taken.
