To me the coin would grade Good, except for the punch mark on the obverse. Had not been for that, this piece would be somewhat remarkable because the color is very nice, and the surfaces are smooth. If it didn't have punch mark one could make an argument for VG-7, because of the nice eye appeal for a lower grade item.

 

In the old days one needed to be able to see a shadow of the word "WE" in the motto. Grade-flation has lowered that standard, with some justification, BUT unfortunately some dealers have taken that justification too far IMO. You need to be able to see the "WE" on a VF graded example, and I've even seen a few dealers try to palm off a piece without the "WE" as "EF." :o:(
