It's 27 millimeters in diameter, very thin and has a reeded edge.

Seems too early to be a spielmarke.....

I could make a spoon. Or a bullet. Or scratch off lottery tickets with it.

 

It looks crude to me - some sort of gaming token or something.

I already tried it on a scratch-off.....

That didn't work, so that can't be it.

That is what is known as a spade guinea token. They come in guinea and half guinea sizes. They were gaming pieces. There are over a thousand different varieties known and there is a book out on the varieties. Twice I have seen a gaming rack of them up for sale. Like a poker chip rack but with several hundred of these tokens in it.
