A Question on crossovers

Does anyone know if when sending in a coin for crossover to NGC, can you request that they only cross the coin if it will receive the Star designation.

Yes, this is possible. Just make it clear on the submission form.

I'd imagine that you could do this. NGC is pretty accomodating. You would need to write IN BIG LETTERS on the invoice - CROSS ONLY IF THIS COIN WILL RECEIVE A STAR! (Or some such thing.) I'd bet this is unlikely since the coin would have to be put before ALL the graders before it was cracked for grading AND they'd all have to agree on the star designation.
