Wexler WDDR-002 Die Variety

Hi everyone. I just recently completed my 2009 Life of Lincoln circulation issue registry set which surprisingly took me the longest to complete in the top grades possible. I just recently added the 2009 Formative Years too my set in the grade of NGC MS68RD of which NGC has only graded 18 so far. When I received the coin in had I noticed it was one of the 10 different die varieties that Wexler has recognized. NGC has not recognized these yet but I hope they will in the future. Here is a close up of my coin and it is a Wexler WDDR-002 die variety. You can see the filled in area below the thumb and the point sticking out from the first forefinger at the joint. Pretty neat find on 1 of the 18 coins graded MS68RD by NGC so far. I hope you enjoy my picture and as always, thanks for looking and Happy Collecting

Die Varieties are addicting! Once you find one you will search every coin you come across for more of them. :)

Great Find and an additional value to the coin you already had but didn't know it.
