SILVER EAGLES 1986-DATE, Mint State (Incl. Varieties)

Please explain why, in the "varieties set", there would be a slot for the 2006-W coin, as well as a 2006-W 20th Anniversary Set slot, when the "Anniversary Set" coin can be counted at a higher value in the 2006-W slot. The same issue occurs with the 2011 coin as compared to the 2011 25th Anniversary Set slot. Aren't these two different "varieties".

Recently, the 2000 MILLENNIUM SET coin was removed from the Mint State Complete set for apparently the same reason and is now included in the "Varieties" set as a "different" variety.

A person trying to complete the "Varieties" set would now have to purchase coins from the Anniversary Sets to complete the slots and compete in the Registry scoring. My suggestion would be to have one or the other, but not both, because of the point difference or to display the set as is done with the 2000 MILLENNIUM/2000 coins.

Thanks for the feedback.

Hello, and thanks for the question.

We will be removing the anniversary coins from the "regular" slots in those variety sets. Thank you.
