Lincoln Cent Folks - Proof 1985-S Really Really Really Bumpy Fields

I know this has been discussed before but I can't recall

what people said was the cause, did not know what to

search for on here, did not know if these are as common

as dirt etc. I was looking through the three proof sets I

own and found this. Worth anything at all? It is still in

the original proof set. The big lights I have made it difficult

for me to show these surfaces as I had to hold the lights

right up against the lens to almost shoot straight down

on the coin. Had I shot the coin normally, the fields would

have been black and you would not see the surfaces of the

fields like this. Thanks....

I think it is tougher to find them without the bumps from around 1984-1991.

 

I believe it is caused from air bubbles between the copper plating and zinc core.
