Would appreciated grade feedback. Rev is toned about 2/3 up from bottom.

Keep in mind, that unless the seller is knowledgeable, objective and honest, his "opinion" is essentially worthless.

MS-64 but the pics aren't the greatest. 2 lines or marks at 3o'clock on the obverse are kind of distracting

Thanks everyone. Especially Mark on a sellers opinion which was highly expected in this case. The person who sold it to me inherited it from his father who probably purchased it at a coin show as it was in a plastic flip with a note on the opposite side hand written ( 1879 S MS-65 toned rev. $99 ). Reading forum info since joining the past few months has made me aware of knowing who is doing the grading.The person I bought it from was happy with $40.

 

Being quite new with coins is a fun past time.
