No, i believe he is referring to the 2-piece slabs, like the Doilys, which are a slab wrapped in another plastic piece.

 

This! There are 4 variations of the PCGS rattler holder with an outer ring on them. The doily or 3.0 is the most famous while the 2.5 and 3.5 versions are the scarcest. The 2.0 is the most common. Board member Conder101 compiled a listing with pictures of the various types of PCGS holders.

I am confused, so is a regular doily or rattler considered a "double slab" Or are these variations within the rattlers themselves ie a subset? If so do you have a pic of the entire slab?

Ah OK thanks. I didnt know these were 2 parts. They kinda have the same look as the current slabs which I guess are one piece of plastic. Ive owned a doily or 2 but I guess I never noticed. T first glance that 2.0 looks like a regular "Old Green Holder"
