WTB: Dansco 7070 album

I want to start this collection, but I'm having a hard time finding an album. I visited many coin accessory suppliers (JP's Corner, Wizard Coin Supply, etc...) and no one has any. I visited the Dansco site and they are on back order. Through the search, I learned they are going to update the album and re-release it. The albums for sale on eBay are 2x retail minimum.

 

Does anyone have an album for sale? PM me.

 

Also heard about the Intercept Shield Albums and other products. Is their an equivalent to the 7070 in this brand?

The 7070 is quite hard to find right now, as it has been discontinued by the manufacturer, presumably for an updated version. They can easily be found on ebay though.

I have a bunch of auctions saved on eBay that I'm watching, but so far the prices are 2x the retail price and higher.

Yup, unfortunately, that is the market price right now. They are in high demand.

 

I used to have one, and got rid of it. Thinking of restarting a 7070.

I managed to beg borrow and steal five... yes a grand total of five 7070 albums, new in wrap. We have successfully retailed at least a couple of them at $70, and I also sold a used one for $50 (it was practically new but not in wrap).

 

These figures may help you gauge a realistic price.

Holy cow! I will check the hoarders store this weekend and if he has one for a normal price I will pick one up. I have to admit though I don't remember seeing any Dansco's but they could certainly be there somewhere.
