$50... not much of a gamble.

For $50 you did fine. Yes it's $20 over spot but you never know what will happen to this ASE over time. It appears the toning is subtle judging by the pics. Stick it on the window sill.

I think you did fine at $50 for that one and I think it'll look a little bit better in person than the photos show. I usually buy these when I find them at $50 or so or less. Some of them are very beautifully toned and for those I'll pay a little bit more. Just think it's cool that they say 100% White on the holders...
