Just interested in what others might say :) !

I know what my final purchase of 2012 is: 1936-D Washington quarter in PCGS MS-64. Now, I'll have to go back and "remember" what my first purchase was lol !

First: 01/12/12 - Lithuania 10 Centu 1925 PCGS MS65

Final: Payment sent on: December 28, 2012 (1907 D $5 PCGS MS63 (ogh)).

I hope I will not find anything I need for a couple of months next year, because I overspend my coin budget at least 2 times this year...

Here are my first and last purchases of 2012.

I picked up the GSA Morgan 1/7/12 at last year's Heritage FUN auction.

The 1878 7tf was picked up 11/30/12 at Heritage's Houston auction. No pickups in December due to Christmas shopping :)

The slab photos are courtesy of Heritage, close ups are my images.

Last purchases, a high end 44-s Walker in MS64, a three piece Boone set, an 1858FE cent near unc., an 09-s, non- VDB high ms..... I am sending most of my raw coins to NGC these days, faster turnarounds, but much tougher on getting straight grades than PCGS.

This is an easy one for me!

My first purchase of 2012 was a 1960 USS Enterprise bronze medal, 63mm, that is the twin of my 1960 USS Enterprise silver medal, 63mm.

My last purchase was free -- a beautiful, totally original 7-11 parking lot penny! Lots of toning and completely fresh tire and shoe scrapes, tow truck chain dings and coffee stains!

This will go in that empty album hole for the "Clifton and vicinity 7-11." All I need is the Fluvanna County 7-11 penny and my Virginia State collection is complete. Then it's on to the Interstate Highway Rest Areas' deluxe collection.

Does that include all of the varieties like the "Dumpster Cent" and the "Potty Penny"?

Not quite, James, but I'm glad it wasn't. The silver medal of .999FS weighs 4.55 ounces. I paid $40 for it when silver was less than $6. I paid $65 for the bronze medal.

My first purchase was a 5,000 count bag of wheat cents, which paid off fairly well. I made about 50 "starter sets" I sold on amazon and filled alot of holes in my "circulated Lincoln" album.

My final purchase was a NGC Sample Slab silver Roosevelt dime, but with one more day left in the year that could change!
