Strong AU details, but the images make it seem either burnished or lacquered.

 

I would call it AU details--Smoothed. I like the overall look though and imagine it still retains some original luster.

Bruce, I have to agree with others that the coin looks lacquered or polished or something similar. But I know how it goes when you take quick shots, it can make it look funky. On another note, that is definitely the real deal 3 legger.

Once I get better shots this coin will look much better. I never had any doubts this is a real deal 3 legger or is original. NGC or PCGS will be getting this coin soon.
