UNC Details, Questionable Toning.

The way the toning behaves on the reverse is highly suspicious.

Ouch! I was thinking of submitting this one.

I thought the obverse looked nice but questioned the reverse as well. Especially around AMERICA.

Do you have an opinion on the nature, or lack thereof, of this toning?

I was thinking the exact same. The obverse was looking nice to me, but the reverse, there's a line where the toning stops and that concerns me.

It is an MS 64 – 65 , I am also not sure about the toning.

Because of the value it is not worth the grading fee to find out.

I was thinking of using this as the 5th of 5 coins on my free 5 submissions certificate.

Thoughts?

I would save it for a non-generic coin. This coin is readily available in 64 and 65, even nicely toned pieces are plentiful.

Thanks, to all, for taking the time to look and respond.

I say you have a solid MS64, possibly 65. I don't feel the toning is suspicious & I think if you were able to provide better images, you might convince more people that it was NT.

As far as including it in your free submissions, I say go for it. If it comes back a 65, then you did well
