Due to my cosmopolitan tastes in world coins I just had to have this one. Besides, the price was right.

 

The surface is compromised, but I'm sure that's due to the less-that-auspicious environment this coin was subject to. Maybe one day I'll try to clean, um, "conserve" it. For now, that damage actually looks quite stable.

 

Well, there you go. I don't even think they bothered enough to tally-up the mintage on these, is that correct? Again, not the best example, and I'm not really into these; I just love collecting world coins.

Right. I have coins minted in SF and Denver for Australia, but they're still foreign coins.

 

Right, but Australian coins are not in the Redbook.
