I am new to the forum and coin world. I am a gold buyer and recently bought a 1989 gold panda coin that was in a ring. I know scrap it worth about $75, but what is worth to sell ? and what panda coins should i be looking for ?

1989 is a pretty common date, so you won't get much of a premium over spot if any at all since it is circulated and likely has some minor damage from being set in the ring. All pandas pre-2010 are good investments. 2010+ the mintages are getting higher and higher so premiums will be limited on those.
