Grades revealed on Father's Day

 

1946-S Roosie

 

1954-D Roosie

 

1949 Roosie - the line on the reverse was something on the slab and isn't on the coin

 

1947-S Roosie

 

1954 Franklin - same as the '49 Roosie, the line on the obverse isn't on the coin

Thanks for the guesses. Try as I might my images aren't that good, so I'm thinking there isn't much chance of guess these grades.

 

Here are the coins and NGC's assigned grades:

All 4 dimes (and a bunch of other ones I've yet to submit) were purchased across the street in an Meghrig coin album for less than $200...there are some pretty amazing toners in that album.

 

1946-S Dime - MS66 FT - great colors on both sides

1947-S Dime - MS65; I was hoping for a prooflike designation due to the frost on the reverse, but it wasn't to be

1949 Dime - MS67* FT - the colors are a knock out and this one is a beauty

1954-D Dime - MS66 FT - sweet pastel colors on both sides that I'm just not good enough to capture

1954 Half - Proof 66 Ultra Cameo - I bought this one in a '54 proof set across the street for $140.. I already had a 66 Cam for this year and knew the mirrors and frost on this one just blew my existing half away. I'm still thinking it was undergraded and will probably resubmit for it to be a '67 or '68 becaue the fields and devices are really that clean.
