1000 mark note 1900 HUGE.

sorry wrong place..

but paper notes dont got alot traffic.

have any of you pro´s seen this one before?

i did a google but found only 2 on ebay for 1000usd+

what is a fair price on these notes and are they rare??

I don't think that note is real if it's from 1900, as those notes were all Reichsmarks, not Deutsche marks, and the Bundesbank wasn't around. Those terms weren't in existence until after WWII. This appears to be a photocopy of a January 1960 issue of the 1000 DM note, as a real one would have color images and red serial numbers. (sorry, it's only available in German)

 

If this were a real note, it would be worth at least $670 at the current Euro exchange rate (1000/1.95585 DM/EUR = 511.29 EUR), though collectors may offer more.
