I really like the look of that 1884-CC with dramatic, dark toning on the upper portion of the obverse. It is likely too dark for many folks, but looks mighty cool. However, what happened to the slab? In the first shots of that coin in this thread the slab is pristine, but later shots show a large star crack along the obverse edge.

 

I only have one CC dollar, but it isn't a Morgan. Not only that, but it has what many consider post-mint damage. :facepalm:
