Cheepo question #7: What scarce trial coinage pieces were made to test the appearence of coins that would be included in a mass-produced set the following year, but have a composition different from the regular-issue (the mass-prooduced sets)?

 

The first person to post the correct answer who is not an (insufficiently thoughtful person) will win 3 clad dimes from the 60's + a "worthless" coin.

 

Hint: The coins are of a date NGC considers "modern".
