1925 Peace Dollar.. X-Men version?

Just wondered what sort of things I might try to remove the X-Men symbol on this peace dollar, I currently have it soaking in acetone (there was a bunch of tape residue on it.. which lifted after about an hour of soaking). Also if you'd care to guess a grade.. I picked it up for spot so no loss if this is the way it ends up looking forever.

I like it...looks lightly ciurculated so I would say AU55 based on the reverse...I can't see the obverse surfaces enough to grade the obverse (thumbs u

The tape has resulted in selective toning that causes the X pattern to remain. The only way to remove it would be a commercial dip that stripped the toning off. Frankly considering the value of the coin I'd probably just leave it alone.
