i was wondering what the gold value of this coin was and collectors value. thinking of making an offer.

so 1.53 grams gold which is less than 1/20th an oz. of gold at $1500;oz less than $75 in gold value (if my calculations are correct)

Actually, it's kind of dumb to say "AU-58 looks MS-60" since MS-60 is actually a less desirable grade than AU-58! Better exaggeration would have been "AU-58 looks MS-63".

Ever read a catalog selling slabbed early copper that is targeted at EACers? You'll see a lot of it. NGC AU-58 net XF-40.
