it looks good and strange at the same time hm

 

see the rims and also the raised bumps above the date area and also the top of the cap on the obverse at 1pm hm among many other things hm

Yea it looks strange to me also. The flat areas are real smoothe instead of natural wear looking. I'm wondering if it wasn't a detector find that someone tried to clean/repair?? Either that or counterfeit.

Michael, it looks unquestionably genuine to me. My guess is that part of what you're seeing is the effects of the coin having been struck from a rusted die. I see that more frequently on 1833's than on other dates.

It's genuine, but I get the impression of altered surfaces. I wouldn't be surprised if it's been whizzed.
It looks like a scan to me. And I see no evidence of whizzing.

Yep, 1833 B2 die state a:: Obv rust pitting around the date, lower bust, between stars 5 and 6, inside right upper cap, and into the field just above star 7.

 

 

Coin does appear to have been cleaned, or that could just be from a washed out scan.
